Mobile First

According to comScore, consumers using smartphones and tablets increased their spending by 24% year over year in the second quarter of 2013 which translates to $4.7 billion in spending. With mobile becoming the primary screen, it's critical to connect with consumers on the device of their choice. Pavo applications enable public discovery and user access from any mobile device.

Why Pavo?

As we evolve from the information age to an age of context, consumers are ignoring the marketing emails, pop ups, and alerts that disrupt their digital experience. Resources invested in unsuccessful digital marketing campaigns can be a significant sunk cost for brands.

During our research phase we discovered that an assessment of a consumer's intent to buy is weak in the digital marketing space and that passion is highly correlated with an intent to buy. Pavo presents a cost-effective opportunity for brands to directly engage with consumers who have expressed a strong interest for and thereby intent to buy their products.

Our Vision

Although Pavo was conceived as a solution for Michigan-based brands, we're focused on building a social, local, and mobile marketplace that can scale globally. We're leveraging our insights into the fundamental human desire of sharing what we love into the world's most accurate and largest passion graph. Our goal is to create a user experience that is uncluttered and deeply relevant to our users, based not on who they know but on what they love.

Our Experience

As a team of digital strategists we are clear on what's missing for both brands and consumers in the digital ecosystem - intent-based targeting and results. We've integrated data analysis, passion targeting, and a visual marketing engine into a consumer product app for mobile commerce. We are launching during a major shift in advertising from display to native, which will accelerate our product market fit. Like our city, Pavo's brand identity is gritty, authentic, and passionate.

Meet the Merchants at Movement Detroit

Pavo connected with passionate merchants at Movement Detroit, the largest electronic music festival in the Midwest.

The Movement Electronic Music Festival features: five technologically-rich outdoor stages; more than 100 artists; free Wi-Fi access on the grounds; a posh VIP setting located up and behind the main stage; dozens of official afterparties around the city; an interactive technology center featuring the hottest gear in the industry; and several art displays to stimulate the senses. Over 107,000 people from around the globe attended the 2012 festival.
